Zoe. Almost immediately.

2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now
Jayne. I love him as a character, not as a person, but as a character he's great, which surprised me.

3. The character everyone else loves that I don’t
I'm not a big fan of Mal.

4. The character I love that everyone else hates
Is any character hated? Idk.

5. The character I used to love but don’t any longer
I became steadily less fond of Mal.

6. The character I would totally smooch
Kaylee. *prepares basket full of strawberries* xD

7. The character I’d want to be like
Hm. I admire Zoe's strength, Kaylee's cheerfulness, and Simon's loyalty. Probably Simon if I had to choose.

Definitely Mal! (Notice a pattern here?)

Zoe/Wash ♥

10. A pairing that I despise
Mal/Inara. It was so badly handled: Inara had barely any other background/stories besides her crush and let Mal insult her again and again, Mal didn't respect her and didn't even seem to notice, it was just such a trainwreck.

Ha! I am both surprised and not surprised by the Mal ones :) He is not an easy character to like sometimes. And Jayne grew on me too.

heck, I love so many of these characters it'd be a hard pick. Although, I do concur - poor Inara.
