I think my phone might have just died >.< It doesn't react to anything I do anymore. Last time that happened (a day before my vacation!) it only lasted about half an hour, it's been much longer by now. …I really should have bought a new phone weeks ago. It's only a few years old but wifi doesn't work anymore and it has no space for anything. But then I have to figure out which one and how to transfer everything that's on my old phone and all those annoying things *whine*
Still better than a phone that randomly dies, however. Uuugh. Fingers crossed it'll somehow restore itself miraculously overnight, I guess. I'm just glad I keep a paper calendar.
ETA: It worked. I should still get a new phone though...

In more fun news, I finally completed Phoenotopia: Awakening at 100%.

Saturday: I looked up where all the cats are and finally pet the last one :) (in the Rhodus outpost)

Sunday: I decided to look up more things, and I found the Ancient Geo Base. Cool! I read the last journal and slept in the last bed (the inn in Atai. Apparently I never slept there.) Then I found the Lunar Comb, and then I got the Lunar Key from the Southern Megalith Fields (it was not even as bad as I feared I t would be) and the moonstone from there. Next I finally tackled the Daea shooting range – and I succeeded! It's all about the spear bomb timing. After getting two more Heart Rubies via hints from the oracle, now the only Heart Ruby left is the one in Thomas' lab with the stupid punching bag >.<

Monday: I figured out the trick for the punching bag! I need aerial attacks, and both the buttons for jumping and for a bat attack I use with my thumb; once I changed the control for the attack so I use two different fingers it took me only about two minutes.
So then I finally had all Heart Rubies, and I went to face the PHALANX! Giant golden bird, cool. That was a hard but fun fight. I was glad that I brought a lot of food: I had especially stocked up on NutriMeals (poor Gail), so now I even still have crispy golden eggs left over, so that will take care of the recycling achievement.
Then I finished the game again because I had heard there is a bonus scene, but there was not and later I found out that it is only there after you get to the credits with 100% completion (and I am at 94%.) But there were more characters in the Warm Night post-credit artwork, that was nice.

Tuesday: Finally got all the Moonstones, meaning I'm at 100% completion :) I finally met "Narf," that was fun. (Thomas is not very perceptive…) I also got all the badges/achievements I can get during my first playthrough, i.e. all except the speedrunning and the Zero Trial (where you can't pick up any health or stamina upgrades.) Now I just want to finish the game once more, and then… hm.

Wednesday: I could have easily finished the game, but I did not want to be done with it… so instead I played something else: the latest Bloodstained: RotN DLC. I enjoyed playing as Aurora more than I enjoyed playing as Bloodless and Zangetsu, but that was a low bar. Ultimately this confirmed for me that while I really enjoyed playing Bloodstained, without the story and the vast variety of upgrades and the thrill of discovering secrets (because when playing with other characters most secret rooms are empty) I like it a lot less, and while the castle is beautiful that's not enough to keep me engaged especially when combat is both simpler and feels more cumbersome.

Thursday: I was thinking of playing something else again – and then I told myself to stop putting it off, and I finished the game for the third time, this time with 100% completion. The fight against Mother Computer was a lot easier this time, I got by with just a couple of Blue Lobster Specials as food, same with the two fights after that. The bonus "Planet Aether" art with Kitt and Rutea etc. really is cool :) I look forward to the sequel, whenever we get it. (From what I understood it is not the studio's next project but it's still planned.)

I thought about replaying it immediately and trying for the Zero Trial achievement, but I think I will wait a few months so I have time to forget a few of the puzzles/secrets. Next… Originally I wanted to play Outer Wilds next, but after playing PHOA and Aria of Sorrow and Hollow Knight and Bloodstained and the Ori games and Yoku's Island I'm still in the mood for more metroidvanias. Hmm.
(Although it just occurs to me that I can't even buy a new game as long as my phone doesn't work *sighs*)
