Farscape 2.2 Vitas Mortis

schneefinkI love writing episode reviews. Not only do they help me get my thoughts in order, I can also reread them later and remember all the things I loved about a particular episode. And it's useful for finding particular scenes again later.
2.2, Vitas Mortis:
New outfits! Rygel must have made some good trading deals. Zhaan's jewelery and John's coat look very nice. John, no wonder everyone things you're a bit crazy if you constantly use Earth references nobody understands and/or is interested in ;-)
Great reaction by D'Argo to the old woman! (Have I mentioned that I love how many interesting female side characters they encounter?) And John, it's nice of you to defend your friend so passionately, but you might have asked for clarification first? At least he meant well. And she was just testing D'Argo, hehe.
Aeryn telling Chiana to wash her clothes xD "When exactly did I become your servant?" "Well you're cleaning D'Argo's, aren't you?" "Yeah, but I like D'Argo." Heh!
John, didn't you sleep well tonight? What about some respect for other cultures? At least D'Argo and Zhaan both tell him off. Otoh, he's worried about D'Argo (they all did nearly die a short time ago), and he's not good at being diplomatic about it. He even says so to the old priestess. "Have you any idea what it's like to be separated from your own kind?" Yes he does *g* That was a surprisingly sweet scene.
Chiana is worried for D'Argo too, awww. How did she hear him when he screamed? (Or was that only the water getting colder.) Also, Aeryn, freeing someone from ice water is not at all the same as having to wash their clothes, fyi ^^
I liked the look of the ritual, with the hovering sword and all. And the priestess seduces D'Argo! For some reason that was completely unexpected for me, but I like it. I'm already disappointed that she has something to do with the damage to Moya. But at least she didn't mean to, whew.
Even Rygel has a new shirt! I like it. Only Chiana still has her old clothes. I like them, and her haircut.
Pilot and Aeryn, I love them as best friends <3 Why does she think shooting Ni'lam will help? That was a fairly spectacular self-sacrifice by D'Argo, and an equally spectacular rescue and counter-attack by Ni'lam.
"Moya is not just a ship!" Awww, D'Argo. The scenes with him and John and him and Ni'lam were painful and good. And then we get more Pilot&Aeryn, awww.
That was less nerve-wracking than the last couple of episodes, but I enjoyed it :)
