I did also go outside this week

On Wednesday I went with my mom to an Impulstanz dance performance. I enjoyed the music and the dancing, but because it started at 9pm and lasted 135 minutes without a break I eventually started zoning out and I think I missed quite a bit, and by the end I just wanted it to be over. A shame.

On Thursday I met boringpear, which was great. We had ice cream and lemonade and walked through the Hietzing cemetery. I later read up on which famous people are buried there, somehow the only one I found & recognized during our visit was fascist dictator Engelbert Dollfuß. (He's no longer actually buried there but still has a gravestone.)

And yesterday, as a birthday present to my mom last year, my family went canyoning! We went rafting for her previous birthday and that went great, so we decided to do something similar. Last time it rained, but this time we had great weather. We picked a tour for beginners which was a good choice. Unfortunately the most difficult part for me – a 4 meter jump – was at the very beginning, but I made it eventually, and I really enjoyed the rest, especially the sliding and abseiling parts. The wetsuits were so thick that the cold water wasn't a problem. It was a cool experience and I enjoyed it (but not so much that I absolutely want to do it again.)
