ESL fandom moment

Recently, me: DSMP fandom taught me a new word! A group of pigs is called a "sounder," that's what fanon has decided Techno considers his found family and friends.
DD: Ah yes, I know that word from Hannibal fandom, that's what he calls the people he kills.

Fandom is very educational.

(We agreed that Hannibal would most likely eat TommyInnit first, unless he meets him at the right/wrong time and decides to offer him therapy instead.)

I learned a new word, too :o

All the words I can think of are somewhat inappropriate right now but I'm sure I've learned ones I can use in proper company, too :D Fic is great to learn slang in general.

I was recently talking with someone about the fact that I learned what MREs (Meals, Ready to Eat, basically US military rations) from reading Stargate Atlantis fic (I never watched the show, so it was purely from the fic!).

I learned what MREs are but somehow I had never learned what it actually stands for xD
