schneefinkI'm still recovering from being sick, but I wanted to post my notes for the last three SL episodes before the new one (hopefully not the last one) comes out tomorrow.

So red lives also get hearts for kills? Uh-oh…
Cleo immediately starts her task because it's a race and almost immediately comes across Gem who has the same task and is yellow – very lucky for her that Gem made a mistake and accused her of a slightly different task! (I saw someone speculate that it was intentional not to cut the race short too fast, not sure if Gem said something along those lines, but either way.) And then she was done in the first few minutes, nice. Scar got a diamond for his door twice and then his door back xD
I suspected that Etho's actual task had something to do with why he asked to follow people instead of leading them somewhere and that "Bdubs day" was a distraction, but it was a magnificent distraction. Of course Cleo joined in, and I did not for a second suspect that Grian joining in – "Bdubs my Beloved" – was because of his task and not just Grian being Grian. Etho saying this is kind of a foursome, Cleo saying they didn't agree to this – heey it's open what part of it they didn't agree to, maybe just Grian joining ^^ jk. Bdubs is the only one with a bedroom in that base now. He also told Pearl when she asked that he and Etho are not married yet, but he will invite her to the wedding.
Etho's actual Weeping Angel task was a lot of fun and he did great. The only one who correctly guessed it was Grian, and good thing too otherwise handing it in would have been really hard. (Funny that Grian failed his task because he was trying to help Etho, because otherwise he would have ended the session earlier…) Unfortunate that he got stuck with Pearl's hot potato book!
So he has to reroll for hard next week, and Grian too. That's a bigger threat after Lizzie's hard task this episode, getting everyone to sleep at once truly seems impossible. Still, nobody coming to her party except for Joel, and Scar to eat the cake, was sad. Now she's red (in the stupidest possible way, because she snuck up on Martyn and Jimmy while invisible on a skeleton horse and Jimmy hit her too hard) and planning to take revenge!
Speaking of the reds, Jimmy actually made for quite the effective villain in BigB's episode. Who had to collaborate with the reds, oof. Jimmy seemed less threatening in Skizz' episode, Skizz threatened to "lock in tradition right now," great threat. I'm sad Skizz and Tango still haven't seen the backrooms! Letting Grian and Etho be there for the raffle was a dumb risk, of course Grian rigged it (and he would have died from his fall later if he hadn't.) Grian in the End with Cleo to farm enderman and then panicking because he built the platform out of dirt and the endermen started stealing it was great xD
The game of tag was very tense, poor Bdubs especially was so scared, but he didn't lose so go him! The tower-off between Gem and Bdubs was also fun, though yes Pearl's build looked unfortunate at first ^^ Thick, as Scar said. Unfortunate that Mumbo simply walked off the cherry blossom base later.
Scar's task was perfect for him, Trader Scar. (Also a stickler for the rules could say he added a spawner to the zombie egg he got for the next trade but I don't care, he was smart and did great.) He's still on green, with full hearts and very good enchanted diamond gear, go Scar!

Cleo:
Great thumbnail and title, to start with.
So glad I watched Cleo first xD That was such a fantastic episode. Starting right at the beginning, Cleo and Etho – yeah they don't interact much but it's great every time. Etho being worried about the dogs and barking to demonstrate them being aggressive xD And Cleo's task! A special one indeed. She talks about wanting to punch someone and Etho inches closer, Cleo says not him, Etho changes his mind after remembering the dogs ^^ Yeah basically free rein to try anything xD She also said talking with Etho and Grian would be the worst task and Etho was hurt ^^ Lying to Mumbo that she's already done it and Mumbo's astonished high-pitched "How" is fantastic.
Of course Cleo tried punching someone and swindling and arson :D But also singing! Impulse just listening ^^ Scar gave a hint but yeah I believe her that flowers were on her list. She did try complimenting people too!
"Really, this task is about getting away with murder" so true.
But she did manage in the end! With Scott, Gem, and Skizz constantly telling her how hot she is xD And the last-second scare by Skizz, heh.
What was that "redacted" part with BigB I wonder…
Her dogs were a very good deterrent against red, but they did also get poor Scar a couple of times
Ren!Tango was amazing, and I loved that he promised Cleo a frozen shard xDD Cleo explaining their alliance: Cleo is responsible for the diamonds, Etho for the farms, and Grian for support
Holding a funeral for Jimmy xDD Beautiful. And he actually jumped into the grave! They buried him! (I do like the headcanon that the fake funeral was what confused Death and prevented Jimmy from dying first again ^^)
Scar blowing up that TNT by hitting the button with an arrow, he's trying hard to stay hinged but failing, poor Scar sounds like he's had a rough episode
Lizzie the first one out!! Oh no! Poor Lizzie.
Jimmy was very happy and then he died almost immediately afterwards…
And Mumbo too! Oh no! Especially Lizzie and Mumbo had a couple of episodes where they did not have a great time and now they're out :( Such a shame, I really enjoyed both of their episodes.
A wither and a warden!! Grian and Etho's task I assume? Great job. Poor Scar, he was chased by a wither for so long that Grian spammed in chat for him to log out. I appreciate Cleo going closer despite the danger just to see what was going on.
Grian ended up losing one life and going to yellow but overall their alliance is still in great condition.
Pearl
Wow that did not count as Gem guessing the task?, that's strict. But aww, Joel and Bdubs deliberately guessing wrong to put her at ease because Mounders stick together.
Pearl missed basically the whole craziness by hiding underground xD
Bdubs told Pearl she has the best chance of all the Mounders now but Pearl doesn't want to win because she's already won once…
Skizz
The music while he's playing therapist xD Perfect task for Skizz.
Wait, so Scar killed both Bdubs and later BigB? Accidents or not, hmm…
Scar is right, the biggest mistake Mumbo made was going to the nether with Grian ^^ And striders are tricky.
Skizz stays on the side of good for the side of the world xD
Skizz accidentally overhearing Etho and Grian planning to summon the warden ^^
Ren!Tango with all his -ificators is hilarious.
Etho after the wither is dead: "Did that make you jump?" xD
At the end: Etho was worried it was a personal moment xD
Gem
Wait Gem got the same task again? ^^ only for 30 minutes this time
Gem and the Scotts reaffirming their alliance not to betray each other no matter what – Gem is right this sounds like a recipe for angst xD
…wait. She already had her task to lie when she made that promise, she could have been lying…
Gem lying that Joel and Jimmy are handsome xD
Oh wow Tango promising Cleo frozen shards is one thing, but Gem? ^^
Gem wants to hear Mumbo bark and then calls him a wet cat of a man. Mumbo says he's just a pup. Aww ^^
Final deaths don't show up in chat so it sometimes takes a while to notice. Jimmy was so excited not to be the first one out!

End of session everyone at the secretkeeper, Grian asking why the reds would be near the wither, Mumbo in chat: "I COULDN'T HELP IT" xD
And Martyn saying to himself that the hound of hell is coming, there will be no bark only bite, uh-oh :D

Scar was happy for Bdubs to win even when he thought that only one could win (guilt too, maybe?)
Cleo appreciated being included and being able to set a zombie on Scar and Impulse xD and then later preventing Scar from accidentally rerolling for hard, oh my
Skizz proposing to Scar that when they're both red they'll make this the most miserable place to live
Grian just casually starting a conversation with Scar while the warden is coming xD
Scar accidentally picking up a wither skull is just perfect.
Scar seeing Grian and Etho spawn a wither: "oh my gosh, they're more unhinged than I am." xD
That long chase! With the music! xD Poor Scar. Also I notice that he ran across the Mounders base quite frequently, but not the Cherry Blossoms or Etho, Cleo, and Grian's base (smart, not many exits) or his own. The Mounders really aren't doing very well. It's Cherry Blossoms vs Roommates right now, I think the former have the better chances but I'm rooting for the latter.
Scar killing BigB was 100% an accident in all the chaos, unfortunate. You don't want BigB as an enemy…
Lizzie
Murderous Lizzie is fantastic. She sends Pearl after Etho pretty much immediately.
She's not having much luck with her redstone trap attempts though! Scar even finds her first and hits her. Etho thanks her for not killing him and she says, in a sweet voice, "Oh, of course, I would never…" she has somebody else do it instead xD
She goes after Joel and he enters with "Honey, I'm home," aww no. She calls him "Mr. Beans." "How could you do this, I trusted you…" And Joel has to assassinate Scott – nice – and sends her after him – uh-oh I see what happened there :(
Lizzie really is like an orca playing with her food ^^
She was so fantastically ominous with Scott: "Nobody is ever going to find you here…"
Oh no, the enderman :(
"I think it's safe to say I died as I lived: embarrassingly." Oh no Lizzie :(
Bdubs:
The title of the episode! "Worst Best Friend" indeed
I didn't realize when Bdubs died he had thirty and a half hearts left! Oh wow! No wonder he was super pissed.
Hilarious that he respawned in his bedroom in Etho Cleo and Grian's base though
Yeah okay so the zombies were plowing him and Bdubs was saying "give it to me" (according to Scar) – yeah no we're ignoring this
Scar asking if they're doing the neck-kissing bit that Joel keeps doing xD
Glad for Bdubs that he didn't decide to fail and ended up winning. Still bad that he lost a life but at least he has a netherite chestplate and some other resources now…
Joel:
Roping Jimmy into it his secret assassin task, nice.
Lizzie betrayed him for her task, how tragic. He immediately ropes her into his assassination plan, and later jokes about divorce.
Mounders stick together, except Mumbo tries to hurt his own teammates, oh no Mumbo…
Grian in chat "if anyone loves me gift me your heart," and Joel does it immediately, aww ^^
Oh no Scott realized and called him out :(
And yet Joel still sends Mumbo after Scott. All three people he sends after Scott end up perma-dying this episode :( Two of those deaths are unrelated but still.
Joel called out Grian that this was his doing after Jimmy and Mumbo died to the wither, Grian protesting this was not the plan…

Mumbo is Grian's butler?! Uh-oh… And he already had to be Etho's best friend!
"Mumbo's a bit of a problem…"
Etho suggesting Mumbo be Grian's bodyguard, Mumbo "Have you seen me operate Minecraft?!" Etho: "You just have to stand there and take hits Mumbo, it's all good." And then asking him if he likes adventures. Grian: "Me and Etho's destinies are entwined like none other, and you're along for the ride."
Oh the echo-y voice sounds funny ^^
I just saw there's a picture in the base now, nice
Grian removing the corners of their portal and Etho threatening him ^^ but then he does open the portal again, "your savior is here."
Ooh, interesting idea what will happen if you make a portal out of the nether outside the overworld world border…
Mumbo was not a very good butler xD Getting a saddle was a good idea but why did he jump on that strider! And why did he then just walk off! xD Yeah no surprise he gave up.
Yeah the admin fairies giving Grian the fortress coordinates was a good call.

I looove Grian telling Scar to log out to ensure that Grian and Etho can fulfil their tasks. Using his admin authority to his personal advantage! Nice.
After the fight: "Timmy's gone…"

Etho overhearing Lizzie saying she would have someone else kill him instead ^^
Jimmy and Martyn share one bed, of course one sleeps at the end like a dog ^^

They summon the warden – and then Etho has to go down there again?? That wasn’t in Grian's episode! ^^
Absolute chaos and Cleo telling Etho she is proud of him ^^
Etho seems so calm deliberately drawing warden aggro… he did say DO2 taught him a lot about wardens.
Such a shame death messages don't show up in chat, it would have been very funny to see the message that Jimmy and Mumbo were killed by Etho's Dishwasher.

…I think it says something that when watching Grian I did not suspect Mumbo was doing it on purpose.
Wow, even in his own perspective, no hesitation about going after the Mounders. Well the only other season Mumbo knows is Last Life and in LL it was actively forbidden for Reds to team up with others so presumably he was just going with what he knew…
That anvil attack on Tango was very funny ^^
Mumbo saying just because he's red doesn't mean he's joining Martyn and Jimmy's stupid gang, Jimmy immediately insulting his mustache
Mumbo saying Scar is taking on more creepers than he's qualified to take on but actually Scar did fine there

Bdubs giving Mumbo more TNT even though Mumbo previously targeted the Mounders…
The music right before Mumbo died xD and then getting stuck on the joke fenceposts! Well actually he should have run away much sooner but still.
I'm very sorry that Mumbo and Lizzie are out, especially because this was their first season in a while, but I hope that overall they both still had fun (enough to maybe do it again one day… if there is another season…)

Jimmy is singing and practically dancing not to be the first out, demanding Cleo change the gravestone etc.

Cleo
I started with Cleo and it was again the best choice :D …also because Cleo uploaded first ^^
I watched it for the first time without taking any notes, and then a second time taking many notes.
Etho going "cleo I am lost in the mines :(" in chat right at the start xDD
Then telling her a secret: "I really hate mining"
Such a fantastic task :D Skizz and Etho, of all people! Angel and devil on their shoulder! (Cleo immediately suspecting that Skizz is the angel.)
Etho looking at his task: "Oh-oh." xDD and Grian and Cleo immediately losing it. Especially Cleo who knows what it is. A perfect moment indeed.
"Cleeeeo. Cleo Cleo Cleo. How are you doing?" Not suspicious at all xD
Grian looking for netherrack, Cleo saying they have a portal right there, Etho: "But it doesn't work 'cause the corners are all messed up on it." xD "Tha- it works perfectly fine, Etho." "I don't wanna hear it Grian, you wrecked it!"
Etho thinking he's going to die so fast and be target nr 1
"Let's go to our favorite spot, the cows." ^^
"Oh and you picked me, that's nice." "Well I didn't pick you, it says, um…" "Oh, right okay, thanks Etho, I felt special for a second – alright, that's fine." xD
First devil suggestion: attack Scott xD text on screen: "But I don't wanna attack Scott!" "Oh for the love of… okay, fine…" attacks Scott (Etho: "Cleo, why did you do that?") and immediately apologizes and gives Scott a heart, and it's forgotten with that
Martyn coming by to demand tribute, Cleo saying they already stabbed Scott, Martyn is baffled
"Don't you ever wanna, like, just punch Martyn's face, Cleo?" "Ah… ah, I do, but maybe I can do it later?"
Bdubs zooming by on his horse, Scar saying weird things are going on, which at this point is not even ominous
Ooh, right, Cleo and Martyn made a deal! Cleo complaining that Martyn hasn't hit BigB yet, Martyn promising that it's coming.
BigB immediately guessing Cleo's task as soon as he sees them, hmmm
Skizz revealing himself as Cleo's angel and convincing her to give Bdubs a diamond – and Cleo immediately asking for the diamond back xD but then giving it to Bdubs anyway. Skizz: "I'm proud of you!" Cleo: mmmnyea.
Cleo asking the devil if they should steal from Lizzie's stuff, Etho hesitating: "This is hard though because that was your initial thought, Cleo, and I have to be even more evil than you." xD Etho getting behind Cleo to give his devil-on-the-shoulder advice xD namely to burn Lizzie's place down. "I gotta exceed your evilness, you know, it's hard." "It is really difficult, I'm proud of you!" xD And Etho saying Lizzie won't mind anymore, and also she burned down Cleo's house so it's justified.
Scott seems so surprised that Scar was mean!
Gem saying "you look like somebody I don't wanna mess with. Which is a compliment!" and Cleo doesn't even know yet what that means, today.
Etho telling Cleo to flint-and-steel Scar back and Grian saying not to encourage her ^^
Etho saying he's so glad Scar is here to put out the fires, he's a hero xD
Cleo: "Scar's not that big of a threat…"
Grian asking why Scar is burning their stuff down, "I thought you didn't have any friends on this server and you could do with a few?" Etho chanting "burn his feet" in Cleo's ear and Cleo-text wondering where Skizz is when you need him ^^ and Etho trying to convince Cleo to burn Scott's feet not too long after… no wonder Etho is wondering why Cleo isn't following his suggestions ^^ he even gives her a bucket of lava… "this is too complicated."
Cleo just seeing Bdubs kill Impulse in the background, odd. Standing there with Gem, too. And Scar is shooting at people… though that's just Scar, probably.
Scott saying Scar told him he dug up Lizzie to trade her spine to Joel, Cleo-text: "WHAT?" ^^
"By the way, if Grian sounds maybe a little bit sad today, it's because Mumbo died last session." Etho where did that come from xDD "His voice is a little bit broken… grief-stage." Grian: "Oh yeah, so sad. Oh yeah, broken-hearted, oh yeah. I'm going through some stuff… I forgot." xD Cleo suggesting they could name some rotten flesh after those who died. Scott mentions building graves. Grian: "and eat them." Oookay! (accidental zombie foreshadowing…) ZombieCleo, laughing: "I mean we could do that too, I suppose."
Bdubs running by, Etho: "Here comes your least favorite son, apparently." That came out of nowhere in Cleo's PoV ^^ Bdubs immediately turning around and hissing "Youuu" at Cleo xD Cleo protesting "I never said that" and then saying you can't have favorites with children. And Etho saying Scar is the favorite because he's left Cleo alone ^^
Cleo managing to show up at the Heart Foundation right to hear them banish her – again xD
And Skizz calling her sweetheart and running after her, calling her Chloe xD
Skizz tells her to help Scar, which with Scar's task is untintentionally hilarious. Cleo offers help saying she feels bad for him, that he needs a friend. Cleo offers Scar to join their friend group!! Scar says he'd love to!! Love that. And then that immediately becomes Cleo actually physically shielding Scar from the horde, uh-oh.
Grian shows up and mentions how weird the posse is as a group, Impulse and Pearl talk about eating, Grian and Cleo flee… and soon after Pearl shoots Scar. Sad. Not before Scar burned down the heart, though!
Grian showing up with Joel to collect Cleo, Martyn, and the Heart Foundation: "You've seen what's going on… it's not a posse, it's an apocalypse." Uh-oh! Turning point! I looove all the build-up in this.
Scar shows up saying he's not hungry for flesh and that he burned the book they threw him, Cleo cracks up. Joel saying he doesn't believe that, Grian, certain: "He did." xD
Cleo and Etho the last two green names left! Cleo telling Etho to stay with the dogs, just in case.
Grian wondering what they're calling themselves: humies? Humans – apart from Cleo, who is a zombie… "this is gonna get weird." Etho suggests Cleo knows what to do in these situations, Cleo: "Yeah, run away and scream, it's fine, I get it." Skizz suggests "warmbloods."
Grian's scream of despair when Etho told him he killed one of the magma cubes xD
Etho to the magma cube: "alright, little guy, you gotta make up for your brother, you gotta do everything your brother would've done…" ^^
The Heart Foundation going after Scar, Martyn visiting the Roomies and complaining about the dogs. Etho: "It's tough living with her, honestly." Martyn calling her Cleo De Vill. And Grian threatening Martyn with Cleo as the muscle ^^ that she will punch him. Cleo first agreeing, then saying they don't know, Grian confirming yes she will.
Martyn asking if he can go on a cleansing spree and kill the infected ^^
Grian seeing Scar and Gem and immediately going "I need Scar to look at me" and spawning an enderman – and it goes so wrong when Etho looks at it instead! And Etho runs outside toward the river instead of inside… Grian and Cleo run after him and kill the enderman but it's too late, Etho gets killed by Scar. Oh nooo.
Grian: "He really is washed up!"
Cleo is the last green and they don't like it…
Gem shows up looking for Etho, Grian asks what for to eat more flesh, Gem says they don't eat flesh, Cleo: "well as a zombie, that's terrible zombie-ing, not eating flesh." Gem says they killed Etho, Grian says Etho killed himself. Grian admits to putting down the ender spawn egg when Scar asks. Scar, in such a sad voice: "Oh Grian."
Skizz says they have to keep Cleo safe: "can we make Cleo our queen? We got to keep her safe." Cleo cracks up "that feels weird," Cleo-text: "I'm sorry, what?" xD
BigB suggests sending Cleo out there and Grian immediately jumps on, sending in chat: "if we give cleo will you let us live" – and yes it could have been just an inquiry but. Ooooh. I wonder how much that played into Cleo not really seeking out Grian for the rest of the episode. Scott in chat immediately: "Dang" "that’s cold man"
A wolf spawner! Love it.
The zombies coming up the mountain/Etho being in the base: Cleo says "Etho I will kill you too." Cleo-text: "I won't…" ajöflaskds
Cleo: "I feel a little bit like a boss mob…"
Joel spawns in the bed shrine on top of the mountain xD
Oh no, her dogs get lava'd…
Joel coming after Cleo, saying he's not fighting Grian yet. Then wondering why Cleo isn't fighting back, Cleo-text "Oh, you want me to fight back?" and actually hits him, Joel "oh gosh she's fighting back" xD Joel only lost two hearts during that, I saw on his video, and Cleo a lot more, but it still looked very cool.
Gem and Joel insult the base – it's a very nice base, it's been very helpful!
The zombies going after Tango, newly zombified Skizz saying "because I want you back," uh-oh
Cleo ultimately escapes via ender pearl but them making the camel stand up while we can hear Tango fight for his life is very cool
Cleo and Scott finding each other in the Cherry Blossoms base is also cool. Scott says Gem has no band loyalty anymore since being red, Cleo-text: "You can't turn on your team!" Yep, that's Cleo. "So, uh, widow's alliance?" :DDD "I guess so?"
Cleo asking Scott if he's considered just punching them back, Scott saying that scares him – that from one of the best to one of the weakest PVPers on the server is very funny.
It was Pearl and Etho actually but Scott and Cleo thinking it was Grian who set loose the warden is fun.

Cleo said on stream the next day that they think they successfully completed their task but they were busy with something else after the session and haven't talked about it yet. They also said that for the first time they're actually playing to win! For their chat, which has been very nice to them and very enthusiastic about them doing so well. Not to expect much, because it'll likely come down to PVP and not only is Cleo not great at it there's also people they won't fight, but still. (Cleo also said that Etho is Disney evil while they are evil evil, which made me grin.)

Sadly Impulse's PoV doesn’t expand much on his decision to voluntarily join the horde, apart from the fact that he was on two hearts and still had his clearly very dangerous task to complete, and that faking being the boogeyman clearly gave him a taste for murder again. "I'm ready to kill for real this time."
Then the whole zombie horde thing, killing BigB, going after Cleo again, encountering Etho who's like "I don't think we can get it done" and "I would leave her be." "I know you would."
Pearl:
Explaining the horde to Martyn, sort of, and Martyn asking if Etho deserves it: they kind of do, being who they are. "Does Cleo deserve it?" "No, but it's a necessity."
Pearl canceling the pupper alliance after Cleo attacks her dogs, Scar saying he learned no alliances are sacred, Pearl saying he's growing on her. And Pearl saying she's keeping her red life skin on even though she's still yellow because she's liking the vibes, uh-oh…
Grian:
Oh wow yeah Grian going into the nether with that task really was a brain blank xD Love that he called it "Etho's Dishwasher" again though so as not to waste that name. "I've been a fool, Etho…" "Is that your pet? You don't have to answer." … "Where would you like me to install this?" "Under the sink, please."
From Grian's perspective, who doesn't know about their shared task, Etho encouraging Cleo to burn things is more sinister ^^

"Gods, I'm going…" but they were too late. "He really is washed up!" Grian cut out Scar confronting him over spawning the enderman ^^
Grian and Skizz being discovered on their recon mission because they couldn't resist insulting them *facepalm*
And then just hiding while three zombies ran after Joel… they changed their mind when it was far too late.

His episode starts with Cleo having to rescue him from getting lost in the mines xD and blaming her for confusing him, and Cleo saying they might have done it they don't remember
"I guess there's no harm in having her hit more people, right?" ^^ Yeah that's true Etho's task is very open-ended. And then he keeps doing it xD and standing literally behind her every time, so great.
From Etho's PoV, having no idea Tango just killed his horse, the "the genie sends his love" is very out of nowhere ^^

"We've had some rough times, Etho… I think I've just failed my task…" …ah ok it was Martyn getting Joel to attack Etho? ^^ No wonder Etho doesn't feel safe today.

Cleo immediately starts her task because it's a race and almost immediately comes across Gem who has the same task and is yellow – very lucky for her that Gem made a mistake and accused her of a slightly different task! (I saw someone speculate that it was intentional not to cut the race short too fast, not sure if Gem said something along those lines, but either way.) And then she was done in the first few minutes, nice. Scar got a diamond for his door twice and then his door back xD
I suspected that Etho's actual task had something to do with why he asked to follow people instead of leading them somewhere and that "Bdubs day" was a distraction, but it was a magnificent distraction. Of course Cleo joined in, and I did not for a second suspect that Grian joining in – "Bdubs my Beloved" – was because of his task and not just Grian being Grian. Etho saying this is kind of a foursome, Cleo saying they didn't agree to this – heey it's open what part of it they didn't agree to, maybe just Grian joining ^^ jk. Bdubs is the only one with a bedroom in that base now. He also told Pearl when she asked that he and Etho are not married yet, but he will invite her to the wedding.
Etho's actual Weeping Angel task was a lot of fun and he did great. The only one who correctly guessed it was Grian, and good thing too otherwise handing it in would have been really hard. (Funny that Grian failed his task because he was trying to help Etho, because otherwise he would have ended the session earlier…) Unfortunate that he got stuck with Pearl's hot potato book!
So he has to reroll for hard next week, and Grian too. That's a bigger threat after Lizzie's hard task this episode, getting everyone to sleep at once truly seems impossible. Still, nobody coming to her party except for Joel, and Scar to eat the cake, was sad. Now she's red (in the stupidest possible way, because she snuck up on Martyn and Jimmy while invisible on a skeleton horse and Jimmy hit her too hard) and planning to take revenge!
Speaking of the reds, Jimmy actually made for quite the effective villain in BigB's episode. Who had to collaborate with the reds, oof. Jimmy seemed less threatening in Skizz' episode, Skizz threatened to "lock in tradition right now," great threat. I'm sad Skizz and Tango still haven't seen the backrooms! Letting Grian and Etho be there for the raffle was a dumb risk, of course Grian rigged it (and he would have died from his fall later if he hadn't.) Grian in the End with Cleo to farm enderman and then panicking because he built the platform out of dirt and the endermen started stealing it was great xD
The game of tag was very tense, poor Bdubs especially was so scared, but he didn't lose so go him! The tower-off between Gem and Bdubs was also fun, though yes Pearl's build looked unfortunate at first ^^ Thick, as Scar said. Unfortunate that Mumbo simply walked off the cherry blossom base later.
Scar's task was perfect for him, Trader Scar. (Also a stickler for the rules could say he added a spawner to the zombie egg he got for the next trade but I don't care, he was smart and did great.) He's still on green, with full hearts and very good enchanted diamond gear, go Scar!

Great thumbnail and title, to start with.
So glad I watched Cleo first xD That was such a fantastic episode. Starting right at the beginning, Cleo and Etho – yeah they don't interact much but it's great every time. Etho being worried about the dogs and barking to demonstrate them being aggressive xD And Cleo's task! A special one indeed. She talks about wanting to punch someone and Etho inches closer, Cleo says not him, Etho changes his mind after remembering the dogs ^^ Yeah basically free rein to try anything xD She also said talking with Etho and Grian would be the worst task and Etho was hurt ^^ Lying to Mumbo that she's already done it and Mumbo's astonished high-pitched "How" is fantastic.
Of course Cleo tried punching someone and swindling and arson :D But also singing! Impulse just listening ^^ Scar gave a hint but yeah I believe her that flowers were on her list. She did try complimenting people too!
"Really, this task is about getting away with murder" so true.
But she did manage in the end! With Scott, Gem, and Skizz constantly telling her how hot she is xD And the last-second scare by Skizz, heh.

Her dogs were a very good deterrent against red, but they did also get poor Scar a couple of times
Ren!Tango was amazing, and I loved that he promised Cleo a frozen shard xDD Cleo explaining their alliance: Cleo is responsible for the diamonds, Etho for the farms, and Grian for support
Holding a funeral for Jimmy xDD Beautiful. And he actually jumped into the grave! They buried him! (I do like the headcanon that the fake funeral was what confused Death and prevented Jimmy from dying first again ^^)

Murderous Lizzie is fantastic. She sends Pearl after Etho pretty much immediately.
She's not having much luck with her redstone trap attempts though! Scar even finds her first and hits her. Etho thanks her for not killing him and she says, in a sweet voice, "Oh, of course, I would never…" she has somebody else do it instead xD
She goes after Joel and he enters with "Honey, I'm home," aww no. She calls him "Mr. Beans." "How could you do this, I trusted you…" And Joel has to assassinate Scott – nice – and sends her after him – uh-oh I see what happened there :(

I started with Cleo and it was again the best choice :D …also because Cleo uploaded first ^^
I watched it for the first time without taking any notes, and then a second time taking many notes.
Etho going "cleo I am lost in the mines :(" in chat right at the start xDD
Then telling her a secret: "I really hate mining"
Such a fantastic task :D Skizz and Etho, of all people! Angel and devil on their shoulder! (Cleo immediately suspecting that Skizz is the angel.)
Etho looking at his task: "Oh-oh." xDD and Grian and Cleo immediately losing it. Especially Cleo who knows what it is. A perfect moment indeed.

Scott mentions building graves. Grian: "and eat them." Oookay! (accidental zombie foreshadowing…) ZombieCleo, laughing: "I mean we could do that too, I suppose."
Bdubs running by, Etho: "Here comes your least favorite son, apparently." That came out of nowhere in Cleo's PoV ^^ Bdubs immediately turning around and hissing "Youuu" at Cleo xD Cleo protesting "I never said that" and then saying you can't have favorites with children. And Etho saying Scar is the favorite because he's left Cleo alone ^^
Cleo managing to show up at the Heart Foundation right to hear them banish her – again xD
And Skizz calling her sweetheart and running after her, calling her Chloe xD
Skizz tells her to help Scar, which with Scar's task is untintentionally hilarious. Cleo offers help saying she feels bad for him, that he needs a friend. Cleo offers Scar to join their friend group!! Scar says he'd love to!! Love that. And then that immediately becomes Cleo actually physically shielding Scar from the horde, uh-oh.
Grian shows up and mentions how weird the posse is as a group, Impulse and Pearl talk about eating, Grian and Cleo flee… and soon after Pearl shoots Scar. Sad. Not before Scar burned down the heart, though!
Grian showing up with Joel to collect Cleo, Martyn, and the Heart Foundation: "You've seen what's going on… it's not a posse, it's an apocalypse." Uh-oh! Turning point! I looove all the build-up in this.
Scar shows up saying he's not hungry for flesh and that he burned the book they threw him, Cleo cracks up. Joel saying he doesn't believe that, Grian, certain: "He did." xD
Cleo and Etho the last two green names left! Cleo telling Etho to stay with the dogs, just in case.
Grian wondering what they're calling themselves: humies? Humans – apart from Cleo, who is a zombie… "this is gonna get weird." Etho suggests Cleo knows what to do in these situations, Cleo: "Yeah, run away and scream, it's fine, I get it." Skizz suggests "warmbloods."
Grian's scream of despair when Etho told him he killed one of the magma cubes xD
Etho to the magma cube: "alright, little guy, you gotta make up for your brother, you gotta do everything your brother would've done…" ^^
The Heart Foundation going after Scar, Martyn visiting the Roomies and complaining about the dogs. Etho: "It's tough living with her, honestly." Martyn calling her Cleo De Vill. And Grian threatening Martyn with Cleo as the muscle ^^ that she will punch him. Cleo first agreeing, then saying they don't know, Grian confirming yes she will.
Martyn asking if he can go on a cleansing spree and kill the infected ^^
Grian seeing Scar and Gem and immediately going "I need Scar to look at me" and spawning an enderman – and it goes so wrong when Etho looks at it instead! And Etho runs outside toward the river instead of inside… Grian and Cleo run after him and kill the enderman but it's too late, Etho gets killed by Scar. Oh nooo.
Grian: "He really is washed up!"
Cleo is the last green and they don't like it…
Gem shows up looking for Etho, Grian asks what for to eat more flesh, Gem says they don't eat flesh, Cleo: "well as a zombie, that's terrible zombie-ing, not eating flesh." Gem says they killed Etho, Grian says Etho killed himself. Grian admits to putting down the ender spawn egg when Scar asks. Scar, in such a sad voice: "Oh Grian."
Skizz says they have to keep Cleo safe: "can we make Cleo our queen? We got to keep her safe." Cleo cracks up "that feels weird," Cleo-text: "I'm sorry, what?" xD
BigB suggests sending Cleo out there and Grian immediately jumps on, sending in chat: "if we give cleo will you let us live" – and yes it could have been just an inquiry but. Ooooh. I wonder how much that played into Cleo not really seeking out Grian for the rest of the episode. Scott in chat immediately: "Dang" "that’s cold man"

Cleo ultimately escapes via ender pearl but them making the camel stand up while we can hear Tango fight for his life is very cool
Cleo and Scott finding each other in the Cherry Blossoms base is also cool. Scott says Gem has no band loyalty anymore since being red, Cleo-text: "You can't turn on your team!" Yep, that's Cleo. "So, uh, widow's alliance?" :DDD "I guess so?"
Cleo asking Scott if he's considered just punching them back, Scott saying that scares him – that from one of the best to one of the weakest PVPers on the server is very funny.
It was Pearl and Etho actually but Scott and Cleo thinking it was Grian who set loose the warden is fun.

And then doing the "wap-wap-waah" sad sound to mock the zombies after Grian called end of session ^^
Cleo said on stream the next day that they think they successfully completed their task but they were busy with something else after the session and haven't talked about it yet. They also said that for the first time they're actually playing to win! For their chat, which has been very nice to them and very enthusiastic about them doing so well. Not to expect much, because it'll likely come down to PVP and not only is Cleo not great at it there's also people they won't fight, but still. (Cleo also said that Etho is Disney evil while they are evil evil, which made me grin.)

Gem started the infection! And she didn't want to start with her alliance though it would have been easy. Still, I doubt there's that much of her alliance left…

Sadly Impulse's PoV doesn’t expand much on his decision to voluntarily join the horde, apart from the fact that he was on two hearts and still had his clearly very dangerous task to complete, and that faking being the boogeyman clearly gave him a taste for murder again. "I'm ready to kill for real this time."
Then the whole zombie horde thing, killing BigB, going after Cleo again, encountering Etho who's like "I don't think we can get it done" and "I would leave her be." "I know you would."
Pearl:
Explaining the horde to Martyn, sort of, and Martyn asking if Etho deserves it: they kind of do, being who they are. "Does Cleo deserve it?" "No, but it's a necessity."
Pearl canceling the pupper alliance after Cleo attacks her dogs, Scar saying he learned no alliances are sacred, Pearl saying he's growing on her. And Pearl saying she's keeping her red life skin on even though she's still yellow because she's liking the vibes, uh-oh…
Grian:
Oh wow yeah Grian going into the nether with that task really was a brain blank xD Love that he called it "Etho's Dishwasher" again though so as not to waste that name. From Grian's perspective, who doesn't know about their shared task, Etho encouraging Cleo to burn things is more sinister ^^

His episode starts with Cleo having to rescue him from getting lost in the mines xD and blaming her for confusing him, and Cleo saying they might have done it they don't remember
"I guess there's no harm in having her hit more people, right?" ^^ Yeah that's true Etho's task is very open-ended. And then he keeps doing it xD and standing literally behind her every time, so great.
From Etho's PoV, having no idea Tango just killed his horse, the "the genie sends his love" is very out of nowhere ^^
