For the first time this summer (for some reason) I went swimming in the river near my parents' place. Very nice, especially in this terrible heat, I should do that more often.
Have I mentioned that my new office doesn't have air conditioning? I only have a ventilator under my desk, I'm suffering. At least our boss buys us ice cream frequently.
My window herbs are also suffering, the chives already died. I don't even use the herbs that survived very often, though it's still very nice to have them just in case.

I've struggled with writing recently, so to hopefully overcome my writer's block I signed up for battleshipex on a whim. It worked even better than I hoped! I'm on team Mermaid (our odds to win are not very good right now but whatever ^^) and I'm having a great time. I already finished two fics, and I'm working on a third one that I probably won't be able to finish in time to hit any of the tags on the first board that inspired it but then I'll just have to use it for the boss battle.

Oh man, no air conditioning at work sounds awful! I hope the ice cream at least partly makes up for it and that you get to do a lot of river swimming. And yay for finished (or even started) fics!

Unfortunately to get to my parents I have to brave an hour of the hot outside... but then, swimming!

I was annoyed at one of my colleagues today, he said he doesn't understand why some people in the office complain so much because he personally doesn't mind the heat very much. Yeah but others do *facepalm*

xD I've heard that Crystal, Volcano, and Mermaid should all be completing the boss tonight. Truly I do not think that Crystal is that much speedier necessarily...

All the teams were very close in defeating the first boss! We'll see how it goes with the second board :)

Yesterday we had a thunderstorm, that was nice. Already humid again today though... still.
