I had a wonderful weekend with my friend S. in Salzburg. We talked about equal amounts in Russian, English, and German, and it was a lot of fun! Salzburg is a small but beautiful city. We had great weather and most of the Christmas markets were already open. S. was delighted that we could see real mountains, not only hills! :)
We stayed with one of my aunts, which was very convenient, even though the way she repeatedly badmouths my parents while talking about the importance of family is very aggravating and I'm glad we didn't spend much time with her.
Of course after a weekend wonderfully free of studying and OTW work - I didn't even miss the internet very much, progress? - everything has to be done at once, but it'll be fine.
Or maybe I just don't feel very anxious about it because after I made several phone calls LB is on his way to pick up a copy of Cold Days right now! Apparently it's been out in one bookstore in Vienna since Thursday? I'm so excited! I hope he reads it quickly. It'll be a long day of lectures tomorrow and it'll feel even longer knowing what I could be reading instead.

They are! I'm looking forward to visiting all the ones in Vienna :)
