That was fantastic! I loved it :)
The basic formula reminded me of Avengers: very shiny, good character movies, good action & humor, and you only notice an hour afterwards that the plot doesn't always make sense but you don't really care.
Asgard finally seemed like a real place with real people, I enjoyed that, and still very pretty. All of Thor's companions & friends were great in what little time they got. And plotting! Awww, Thor all grown up.
Thor and Loki were great together. Loki being impressed that Thor lied to him, the reminders of times past, trust or not, the fake betrayal that I totally fell for, Loki likes Jane... Funny and serious. I wonder what Loki did to Odin? Now I want to watch that last scene again. Well done.
Frigga was fridged, but it was at least well done, she's badass.
Darcy's intern *g* (though the romance was unnecessary) and Eric, and Jane. Good solution of why-don't-the-other-Avengers-show-up: it all went pretty quickly on Earth. Bonus Cap! :D
I wasn't very impressed with Malekith, but he was okay. There wasn't really much space for him. I would have liked to see at least a little bit of the relation between him and the other elves - does he care for them at all?
Thor on Earth is great, on the subway and hanging his hammer up and "so am I" to the police and stuff. I like him a lot. :)
Other things: gratuitous shirtless!Thor, nice *g* Poor lost beastie. Loki calling something else monster, progress? ;)
I'll probably think of more later.
