The character I least understand: Mal. Sometimes I almost like him, sometimes he's incredibly stupid.

Interactions I enjoyed the most: Kaylee & Inara were sweet together, even though we don't see enough of it. There's one hair-brushing scene that I love. Also Zoe&Wash.

The character who scares me the most: The guys with the blue gloves.

The character who is most like me: Simon

Hottest looks character: Zoe

One thing I dislike about my fave character: Simon can be very awkward on occasion.

One thing I like about my hated character: Mal cares about his crew a lot, and he usually means well. (Not really the guy I hate the most out of everyone, but the one I dislike the most of the crew, because he's presented more heroically than Jayne.)

A quote or scene that haunts me: The blue gloves, and Leaf on the wind.

A death that left me indifferent: Any apart from Wash, I think.

A character I wish died but didn't: Did the guys with the blue gloves die? Probably those who "took care" of River before Simon rescued her.

My ship that never sailed: Hm, I can't think of any right now.

I know what you mean about Mal, but I still like him. I would have difficulty finding any character that I didn't like or that wasn't so wholly true. I think my ship that never sailed would be Kayley and Inara - and I agree about that hair-brushing scene. The quote and scene that haunt me are at the end of The Message.

sigh. such a great show. And after all these years I still don't have a Firefly icon...

To be honest I think at least half of my dislike of Mal is not because of Mal himself, but for his general character type. Sorry not sorry.
