Rec advent calendar prompts?

Last year as a present to my roommate I made her an advent calendar of fic recs: she gave me a list of 24 of her favorite tropes and every morning she got a fic rec for one of them. It was a lot of fun, so I decided to do something like that again. This time I decided to ask you guys: tell me a favorite trope of yours and I'll look for a story to rec you in December :)

A few caveats: The order will be random. Restricting fandoms would make it more difficult to find stories that fit, so while I will try to find a story in a fandom that I think you're familiar with, it's not a guarantee (else I'll look for a story that doesn't require canon knowledge or an original fic.) Tell me your DNWs so I can avoid them.

Mein Schwachpunkt sind enemy-to-lovers Sachen, die glaubwürdig sind. Kann auch gerne Original sein, allerdings bevorzuge ich m/m und eher explizit erotische Geschichten. Gen lässt mich für gewöhnlich unbefriedigt (heh) zurück.

One of my favorite tropes is threesome/poly pining, where one member decides they are unwanted/unnecessary/undesired etc, For Reasons. And they leave or want to leave or don't want to join. Naturally this problem is solved by saying no you dumbass we love you get over here.

I DNW unhappy endings, and you can probably avoid Tony Stark/Steve Rogers/Bucky Barnes for this because probably I've read it. ;-)

Crack-taken-seriously, where the author starts with a really absurd premise and then explores it as if it were real. I love that sort of thing.

If it counts as a trope, narratives of reconstruction: setting right what once went wrong, whether that be a country, a piece of equipment, a relationship, or a person.

If not, I +1 marginaliana's suggestion of crack-taken-seriously.

DNWs: Christianity, "only the two of us exist and we never interact with the rest of the world ever" presented as a healthy relationship trope, narratives all about the permanent loss of something (an ability, a friend, a change of appearance) and misery porn thereof.

(...while being able to be very precise with regards to DNWs is a positive aspect of introspection, it is somewhat awkward when one's DNWs go from easy-to-list tropes to multiple paragraphs of explanation. :P)

Drugging/high fevers/head injuries, in which a character is woozy and out of it and someone else takes care of them? :D

DNW: a really heavy focus on unpleasant medical details; I'm mainly in it for the lighter comfort aspects.

What a great idea! I'd love to suggest something, but for the tropes I love I've read tons and tons of stuff in all of my fandoms, and I don't enjoy reading in fandoms I don't know anything about.

Unless they are crossovers, and I'm familiar with at least one fandom. That might work. *g* Gen or m/m, DNW cheating, or character death, or hurt without comfort.

OMG, this is such a cool thing! If you have room in your schedule, I would nominate parent-child relationships, where it's not just "aww, kids are adorable", but focuses on both sides as actual people.

Also, I just realized I never got around to telling you last year that I went and read Sass-Badger Versus Son-of-No-One thanks to your post, and it was fascinating! Thank you for reccing it!

Parent-child is a pretty broad range - what's your preferred age range for the kid(s)?

If it's doable, I always love a good found family kind of fic, preferably one where the characters have cut off ties to who they thought they were before //stuff// happened.

DNW: anything slavery-related, deeply unhappy endings.
