Steps

I went running today, not because I thought I had to but because I wanted to even though it was already dark outside, and I already felt/did a lot better than five weeks ago, when I started running again after a long break. And I only ran once a week! I did not expect to see progress so fast but it makes me happy.

We cooked first and put everything (duck with dates etc.) in the tajine and left it to simmer, so when I came home there was delicious food ready, with fresh pita bread and mulled wine. Luxury.

Originally I wanted to post about the next few TMA episodes in more detail (I finally "met" Martin! -speaking of, since he only left his flat once Jane Prentiss left, what does John mean at the very end of "Freefall" when he asks "what are these things"? And even though I knew it would happen, I was still surprised when John offered to let Martin sleep in the Archives. I also heard Sasha for the first time, and though I was happy about that, interruptions do make the statement less effective.) But I got distracted by, um, procrastinating on packing for tomorrow. Which I really should get back to.
