Art: Sky Pirates!

A few weeks ago I promised frith_in_thorns a stick figure drawing for her SGA sky pirates AU because she didn´t make it for the Big Bang deadline. I don´t know what I was thinking... but I tried. LB told me how to make the ship fly (clouds!) I stared at the biggest model ship in Gdánsk for ten minutes and eventually decided to make an air balloon instead of wings. Ten pages of sketches later I thought it didn´t look embarrassing anymore.

I proudly, or at least not ashamed at all, present: The Sky Merchants of the Atlantis!



I hope it´s big enough to see anything, I´m not good with uploading pictures and stuff.

frith_in_thorns, I hope you like it, even though it probably looks nothing like your story (that´s why I posted this first!)

The sails. Do you know how many sails a large ship has? And ropes! Ropes everywhere! It took me ridiculously long to properly draw Ronon and Rodney, and now it looks like they´re floating somewhere in the sky, but they just didn´t fit on the ship.

(Now you just have to finish your story. *nudge*)
