Still very good at procrastinating

schneefinkThe past few days I was so committed to procrastinating that I tried three (3) new things. I watched the first three episodes of Brooklyn 99, read the first two issues of New X-Men, and watched half of a baseball game. I enjoyed the former two, and with baseball I can see why people like it but actually it'd be smarter not to actively try to get into new things so I'm trying not to. (Baseball RPF is making this harder than it should be.)
Thing #4 to procrastinate was 50 new Hockey RPF fic, but I wasn't actively trying to do that, I just completely and to no-one's surprise failed to resist when they were all posted at once.
I still haven't watched Doctor Who season 8, I'll catch up eventually but I'm not really in the mood for it. Imo the past few seasons the quality declined.
And I borrowed Pratchett's "Snuff" from a friend and started reading, but instead of reading it all in one go like I used to I already put it down three times and I'm not even at page 100. I'm becoming more impatient with slow starts, I think.
The NHL season is starting soon! I'm excited and very curious. And this year enough of my RL friends are sufficiently familiar with hockey, because I already talked to them about it so much, that I might even be able to talk about it with them. I metcesy recently when she visited Vienna and I'd almost forgotten how fantastic it is to talk with people who speak fandom and are into similar things. (Teleporters, I want one!) It won't be the same, but some of my friends here are learning ;)

WUYS wrote a great blog post where they explain the life of a hockey fan through BBC Sherlock gifs, Could Be Dangerous. Fairly accurate.
Now back to work! ...hopefully. And maybe another episode of B99 as a reward.
Tomorrow I'm meeting with LK and AV to watch more Babylon 5 episodes \o/
