I almost forgot to mention it: I wrote two short fic snippets for

fandom_stocking.

Connection to the Unknown, a Steerswoman/Star Trek: Discovery crossover. ( Disco spoilers )

ice+fire, a TAZ:Balance h/c snippet. I almost didn't post this on AO3 because it's so short and not very polished, but then I told my inner perfectionist to shut up.

Speaking of, my reaction to the last two Star Trek Disco episodes: ( Spoilers )

Things I planned on doing today: start with my studying schedule for the January exam.
Things I did not plan on doing today: watch the rest of Star Trek: Discovery and spend the whole day thinking about it.

I watched the first two episodes a few weeks ago and I mostly liked them (especially Captain Georgiou), but I was not in the mood for a show about war so I didn't continue. But DD told me to watch the rest and I said I would over the winter holidays, so I started yesterday. At first I thought they were okay, then there was a lot of eye-rolling about characters being stupid, and now I want more immediately and I'm really glad I waited so long because the new episodes will come out soon.
